Schedulers Can't Book Time With You

If people tell you your booking link does not work, or shows no available times, walk through this checklist.

  • Expired calendar connection: If a calendar used by the booking link has an expired connection, the booking link stops working entirely until you refresh it. Check the dashboard for calendars with an Expired tag. See Fix an Expired Calendar Connection.
  • Expired trial or subscription: When your free trial or subscription expires, all your booking links are disabled. They are enabled again as soon as you purchase a plan. See Plans and Free Trial.
  • Wrong URL: Make sure you shared the exact link from the Booking Links page. If you changed the link's URL, the old address no longer works.

Fewer available times than you expect

Available slots are the intersection of everything the booking link is told to respect. The usual suspects:

  • Availability Schedule: Only the hours in the schedule are offered, in the schedule's time zone.
  • Date Exceptions: Specific dates can be blocked or given different hours.
  • Busy events on your calendars: Any busy event on the calendars the link reads availability from removes that slot, including all-day busy events. See Availability.
  • Minimum Notice: Slots too close to now are hidden.
  • Limit Future Bookings: Dates beyond the configured window are not offered.
  • Event Buffers: Buffers before and after existing events remove neighboring slots.
  • Time Slot Intervals: The interval determines where slots can start, so larger intervals mean fewer options.

Two more things worth knowing:

  • All-day and tentative events count as busy. Any event not explicitly marked as Free blocks its time, including all-day events marked Busy and meetings you answered with Maybe.
  • Collective links need every host to be free. On a collective booking link, a slot is only offered when all hosts are available, so one fully booked host can remove all the times.

For a step-by-step way to find which rule is hiding a specific slot, see Troubleshoot Availability.

The scheduler sees "This time slot is no longer available"

The slot was taken or became unavailable between loading the page and confirming the booking, usually because someone else booked it first. This is OneCal preventing a double booking, and the scheduler just needs to pick another time.
