I Can't Connect My Calendar

These are the most common reasons a calendar connection fails, and how to fix each one.

"Connection not complete"

During the Google or Microsoft consent screen, one or more permission checkboxes were not selected. OneCal cannot sync calendars without all the requested permissions. Connect the calendar account again and make sure every permission is selected when prompted.

"This account has already been used in a free trial"

To prevent abuse, the same calendar account cannot be used to start a free trial on more than one OneCal account. If you believe this is a mistake, or you want the calendar account moved to your current team, contact our support team.

"This account is already registered by a different user"

A calendar account can only be connected to one OneCal account at a time. Disconnect the calendar account from the other OneCal account first, or contact our support team if you don't have access to that OneCal account.

iCloud: "Invalid Apple email or app-specific password"

The iCloud calendar connection uses an app-specific password, not your Apple account password. Create one especially for OneCal and try again. See Create an Apple ID app-specific password.

"No calendars available"

All the calendars of this calendar account are already imported into OneCal, so there is nothing left to select. If you expected a new calendar to appear, make sure it exists in the provider first, then refresh the calendar connection with Refresh connection on the calendar card.

Your organization requires admin approval

On Microsoft work accounts, the calendar connection can be blocked until an administrator in your organization approves OneCal. See Connect Outlook Calendar for how to get OneCal approved.
